The luxury residential segment proves to be currently less affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This was one of the conclusions of the videoconference organized by Cushman and Wakefield Echinox real estate consultancy company and the law firm Dentons Romania.
“We resumed discussions with the clients interested in the acquisition of premium properties, we also received new requests and even organised site visits. We are in a period that becomes effervescent and people are starting to look for what they had in mind before the start of the pandemic.”, declared Mihaela Pană, Partner Residential Agency Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
During the videoconference, important players participated at the debate of a series of 10 topics that will impact the development and transactional activity of the residential sector. This booming market recorded in 2019 a record in terms of deliveries for the last 30 years, with 67,512 units put into use throughout Romania. The list of speakers also included: Cristi Moga, Head of Research Cushman & Wakefield Echinox, Perry Zizzi, Managing Partner Dentons, Beatrice Dumitrașcu, VP Residential Sales One United Properties, Alex Skouras, Managing Partner Alesonor, Ovidiu Șandor, CEO Mulberry Development and Romulus Andrei, Director Structured Finance Banca Transilvania.
