We were instructed in 2010 to advise H&M with their extension in shopping centers all over the country.
In spring 2010, Swedish retailer H&M decided to enter Romania in all the major shopping centres in the country. It was the first time H&M had entered a market with such a large number of openings in one year.
We advised landlords as Anchor Group (Bucharest Mall, Plaza Romania), EMCT (Sun Plaza), K&S (Electroputere Parc), Atrium Centers (Atrium Center Arad), Lotus Market (Lotus Center), Argo Capital Property (Shopping City Sibiu) and Belrom (Severin Shopping Center), securing lease agreements with H&M in 2010-2012 for a total of more than 13,000 sq. m of retail space.
Between 2010-2012, we successfully secured lease agreements with H&M, accounting for a total of over 13,000 sq. m of retail space in shopping centers like: Bucharest Mall, Plaza Romania, Atrium Center Arad, Lotus Center, Shopping City Sibiu etc.
The first H&M stores opened in March 2011 in Cotroceni Park, Unirea Shopping Center, Baneasa Shopping Center, Bucharest Mall and Plaza Romania.
The first location outside of Bucharest opened in April 2011 in Unirea Brasov, followed by Maritimo Shopping Center Constanta, Iulius Mall Cluj and Iulius Mall Timisoara in the autumn.
