PARKLAKE

01The Challenge
ParkLake Shopping Center, with an area of almost 70,000 sq m and 225 shops, is a dominant shopping center in Bucharest. Opened in 2016, the shopping center is located in one of the most densely populated area. Since the opening, ParkLake Shopping Center managed to attract strong brands, but the landlord wanted to update the tenant mix with one-of-a-kind brands to address the customers’ needs. Realizing they would need a partner experienced in efficiently opening new retail locations to realize their objectives, they engaged Cushman & Wakefield Echinox Retail Agency.

02The Solution
After a careful analysis of the retail market and of the customers’ requirements in the area, our team succeeded in identifying new brands to complement the tenant mix. As a result, brands such Jimmy Key, Wittchen and Kameleon (La casa de las Carcasas) entered the Romanian market, opening their first stores in ParkLake Shopping Center.

03The Results
Cushman & Wakefield Echinox completed the tenant mix with international brands that provide a unique shopping experience to the mall’s customers.
