COVID-19 IMPACT SURVEY ON THE HOTELS IN ROMANIA H2 2020

COVID-19 has had a very rapid and drastic impact on the Romanian hotel sector. This second survey was completed between 10.10.2020 – 4.12.2020, over a period of 4 weeks. Hoteliers are defined as the hotel industry respondents which participated to this survey. 43% of the respondents expressed that they will keep the hotels open if no further lockdown will be applied, while 19% have no intention to close their business in any scenario. The government support is imperative to the recovery of the Romanian hotel sector.
