01The challenge

Bayer’s office space in the Bucharest Business Park, owned by Pavăl Holding, required a comprehensive redesign to meet the evolving needs of its employees and new workplace demands. The objective was to create a modern, flexible, and collaborative environment that fosters productivity and connection among colleagues.

 

02The solution

Our Project & Development Services team, led by Project Manager Mihnea Cristescu, took on the challenge of transforming Bayer’s office space. Collaborating closely with the international Cushman & Wakefield team in the Netherlands, we embarked on a journey to redesign the office, starting from the open area with flexible use. This space was designed to welcome customers and provide a social hub for employees.

Key features of the redesign include:

  • Open Area: A versatile space where customers can be welcomed and employees can socialize.
  • Meeting Rooms: Equipped with the latest technology to facilitate collaboration.
  • Library Area: A quiet space for focused work and reading.
  • Individual Work Rooms: Private spaces for concentrated tasks.

The new Bayer office in Bucharest emphasizes hybrid work, collaboration, and connection between colleagues. The design includes an ample entrance space that flows into an open kitchen and a small amphitheater, creating a welcoming and functional environment.

03The results

The redesigned Bayer office now offers a dynamic and adaptable workspace that meets the needs of its employees and supports the company’s goals. We integrated several atypical solutions tailored to the local context: customized furniture used to divide spaces and create distinct areas within the office, floor finishes selected to enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of the space, and special lighting systems designed to improve the ambiance and productivity. The project showcases our commitment to creating innovative and effective office environments.
