Dover, a global manufacturer and solutions provider, decided to open an office headquarters for its Business Services (DBS) company and chose Globalworth Plaza BREEAM Excellent office building. Our Project Management team was chosen as service provider to assist with the Design & Build of their new DBS office. The location was already partitioned and Dover was looking for a solution to fit in the existing space, without re-partitioning. Therefor, the goal was set to integrate the new design into the old fabric of the space.
Our Design Team used existing and complementary materials in the refurbishment project. New items, finishes and the furniture were carefully chosen to be in-line with the existing ones, yet bring a fresh and modern touch to the space, whilst respecting Dover’s corporate design guide. New functions to the existing rooms/areas were added by our team, through a design that supports and encourages interactivity and collaboration amongst co-workers.
Dover’s new workplace is practical, bold, collaborative and of high-quality. It has a generous and refined waiting area, which can also house impromptu meetings and socializing, a multi-use cafeteria – a mix of modern and vintage, with standard seating and options for work-café and a Training – Workshop Meeting room.
