01The Challenge
La Cocos, a Romanian family-owned business, began with the desire to offer quality products at the most advantageous prices. Seeking to expand its presence on the Romanian market, the operator aimed to open a new location in a densely populated area of a secondary city. The brand was already operating hypermarkets in Bucharest and Ploiesti, with store sizes ranging from 8,000 to 10,000 sq. m. The challenge for the CWE team was to find a suitable location within this size range, which is difficult to identify in today’s market context.
02The Solution
The CWE team successfully identified a 10,000 sq. m space within the Brintex project in Brasov, a former industrial platform transformed into a shopping destination. The landlord had struggled to find a suitable retailer to occupy the entire space. CWE presented this opportunity to La Cocos and facilitated the leasing agreement between the parties.
03The Results
La Cocos inaugurated their first location in Brasov in January 2025. This location has become one of their best-performing stores, attracting customers from Brasov and the surrounding areas by offering a wide variety of products at the best prices.
